Image
Another resin box! Today Im reviewing Crafts Kitsune August 2020 box! The theme was desktop accessories Link to my unboxing:  https://youtu.be/8I-al5LroJ8 What came in my box?  A mat to work on  a booklet about the theme and this months projects  a mold to make a desk organizer  a mold to make pens  ink for inside the pens  a spoon for mixing  a pin  dyes  measuring cup  Thoughts This box was ok I liked it better than the Resin and more box that I reviewed. Right now I recommend it over the Resin & More Box but I wouldnt say its your go to resin box.

Steel City Tee Club August 2020

Image
Trying something new again! This time its the Steel City Tee Club. Here is a link to my unboxing video:  https://youtu.be/Fk_Vzfxsflw The Steel City tee club sends out a shirt monthly. These shirts explore the unique history and pop culture icons that have influenced Pittsburgh Pa. I stumbled on Steel City Tees by accident. My friend on facebook was wearing a Daniel Tiger puppet shirt and I asked her where she got that. The rest is history. I did buy my own Daniel Tiger shirt and I loved it! So comfy and soft. It is also 19.99 on their website right now (its on sale) so you can go get one for yourself! They sell shirts in all sizes. I know I post in my book blog about being a history buff but Im not sure if I stated that here. I'm a history buff. This is why I was very excited when I found out about there Tee club. I also have live near Pittsburgh and grew up there. Another awesome thing about Steel City is there rewards program. I signed up right away and its worth for

Resin & More Subscription Box August 2020

Trying another resin box today. This one is a brand new box called Resin & More subscription box. August 2020 is their first ever box. Here is my unboxing:  https://www.instagram.com/p/CDwD7tJH8es/ What was in my box? Sticker and business card promoting the box  Resin  Salt Scrub  Paints Mica Powder  dyes glitter  measuring cups  heart pawprint mold  coaster mold  mixing tool  mat  raffle ticket and coupon (not shone in slideshow)  Overall I was not impressed with this box. There was no directions or explinations. I got sent a message later that they forgot to send their brochure out which happens I get it. The brochure still wasnt very informative once I got it.  It seemed like there was no rhyme or reason to what I got. It seems they just picked random items and put them in. I also dont see myself using some of these items.  I gave it a try, maybe in the future once they are more established I will try them again but as of now I cant recommend them

Sophie & Toffee Build Your Own Box

Image
Today I am reviewing my products I got from Sophie and Toffee. They sell resin craft supplies. Here is the link to my slideshow unboxing I did on instagram  https://www.instagram.com/p/CDAAiijnYtz/ What was in the box: 1:1 Resin cat silicone mold kitty trinket dish mold orange dye Heart trinket box mold Sakura Trinket Box Mold Hard resin white alchol ink compact mirror mold stain remover sealer Galaxy Cats graft kit freebie bag Pearl shimmer pigment dye Thoughts on the items: Overall I thought items were nice and of good quality. I wish the Galaxy Cat kit would have come with directions because im a beginner. The black stuff that was included in the kit was horrible and just put holes in items. I had several mess up items. The items that came out well I was very impressed with and will be trying this company again. I got a freebie bag of items worth $5 however more than $5 dollars worth was in there. I received:  a sticker sheet  some little cups and pl

The Cherry Box March 2020

Image
New box review:  Today its The Cherry Box: This is a paper crafting box. I make cards and other paper crafts so I thought I would try this box out. I do not remember the exact price but I know its over 30 dollars. Here is a link to my unboxing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXdj4z40n0M What was in my box?  Dylusions shimmer spray  Jane Davenport Squid Ink Hybrid Inkpad  My Prima Planner Paper Pockets (4 in pack)  Our House Frames and Tags  6x6 paper pad  Stained Glass Stencil  Jane Davenport Clear stamps  Ephemera Pack Thoughts  While a lot of these products are nice, it would have been nicer if ideas were included as to what to do with some of the items.  I sadly also do not see me using some of these things.  Items I might use:  Certain things from Ephemera Pack (but then what do I do with the rest)?  Paper Pad  Certain Frames and tags (but then what do I do with the rest)?  Items that are maybes:  The stamps  The spray  Items that are nos:

Annies Holiday Quilters Club

Image
I thought I would try another kit from Annie's again. Today I am trying Annie's Holiday Quilters Club I do not remember the price but I did get it discounted. Here is the link to my unboxing/unenveloping: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M10Y3GRPWCE What was in the envelope?  A kit to make muti holiday hot pads.  Thoughts : Seems like a nice kit.  Something that  will actually be made.  I did not open the kit because I am gifting it.  Would I recommend Annie's Kits? Overall I would have to say no. I do not think you get that much for what you pay. Am I keeping this subscription up?  No. Even though I liked the kit, as I said before. I do not think its worth it.

Annie's Creative Woman Kit of the month club

Image
Another unboxing: now I am trying Annie's Creative woman kit of the month club.  View the unboxing here:  https://youtu.be/EgLbmmOZ4Rg Each month Annie's sends you a craft kit to try and make. I bought this at a discount paying over 6 dollars for a subscription I think is about $20. What was in there?  It came in an evelope A kit to make a birdhouse cottage.  Kit contained all supplies needed to make it.  Direction book was included.  Thoughts:  I like the idea of this kit club! It could be fun. This months kit I don't see me making. that is why I did not open it. I will have to figure out what to do with it. Final verdict:  I think in this kit club it seems like you get your moneys worth. I would totally try it again. At this time though I had to cancel the subscription because I don't have the funds.

Annie's Creative Quilters Fabric Club

Image
Trying Annie's Creative Quilters Fabric Club today.  my unboxing can be seen here:  https://youtu.be/-SCUG-Avgz4 I bought this box because it was on sale. I paid $6 for it but I don't remember how much it was in change, so we will say I paid over 6 for it. I was really disappointed in this box. It was not what I expected. I expected fabric but I also expected extras with it. Heres what I got:  a basic stitches booklet  a paper about viewing free videos  Tonga Spa day collection fabric (5 pieces look to be in the package)  Thoughts:   I do not see me using any of this and I do not think it was worth it for the price. Even though there are 5 pieces of fabric they do not seem very think or big. Final verdict:  I have canceled this box. I think normally its over 30 dollars for this subscription. That is not worth it. I can not recommend this box.

Fabfitfun December 2019

Image
I received this box today but think its a December box. I got this box because fabfitfun is normally 49.95 but I got this box for 9.99 however I think its a smaller box. Here's the link to my unboxing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V13SGOroG7A What's in it?: A magazine/pamphlet thing Whish Firming Sleep Mask  ettika necklace  lavido body lotion  Yumikim bag  Thoughts:  The items in the box were nice but I was expecting a few more items at least.  I can see myself using all of the items except the magazine and sleep mask.  The necklace is short and says it cant be exposed to sweat (what everyone sweats, that makes no sense). However the necklace is nice and cute so I will keep it for now.  The bag is nice and cute too it is a light pink and will get dirty easily with use but again I will keep it.  Final verdict:  It was fun to try but I am not subscribing to this. I can not justify 49.95 even for a bigger quarterly box. If you think you would be intere

Birchbox December 2019

Image
I had heard of Birchbox and had wanted to try it. I found a discount on facebook (as I did with Lip Monthly). With this discount I got 2 boxes for $15 dollars. The package:  My two boxes came in one big box and then the two boxes were both in separate orange boxes that said yes! and then the box itself. Here is a link to my box 1 unboxing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dgHA8mdQyA8 Box 2 unboxing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngDnmAVzibw What was in the box? (Box 1)  Two cards Love Shampoo  Vera Bradley Vanilla Se Salt Sample vial  Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Envious sample  Derma-e Norishing Rose Cleansing Oil  Marcelle Hydra-C Energizing hydrating gel  Love Conditioner Sample  Blush Duo in Papaya don't preach from the beauty corp  What will I use?  The Shampoo  The Conditioner  The blush  Box 1 Thoughts: The final box it came in was nice and could be reused as a gift box.  Was disappointed that most of it was samples  I didnt know that v

Lip Monthly December 2019

Image
Time for another new unboxing this time it is Lip Monthly  I tried this box because I was curious about it and I had a discount. I purchased the box/package for $5. Its price is $12.95. So I thought it was a good deal. What did I get?  To see the items you can view my unboxing here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1yK2IuA9lec Items:  Cute bag/pouch  Card  Peony Butterfly Butter Lip Scrub  Doop Lip Gloss in Peak  Lord and Berry Liner in Supreme Green  Model Illusion Lip Liner  Overall thoughts:   I was disappointed in this package. Even getting it for the discount I do not think it is worth it.  The bag was cute but not my style.  The Lip, and Liners I do not see my self using.  The Lip gloss I will use.  I do think that the attached sharpener on the Model Lip Liner is very cool.  I have canceled my subscription and will not be subscribing again. I also am so very unimpressed with this package I can not recommend it.

Image
Recently I receive on email about $3 mystery bags from AdoreBox, ( https://www.adorebox.com/ ) I had seen some videos of unboxings etc. I knew this box was a beauty box so I thought I would try it for something different and you couldn't beat that price. Creeper Crate October 2019 Hocus Pocus

Image
I am a huge Hocus Pocus fan! When I saw Creeper Crate had this box I had to buy it. You can view my unboxing here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OrswTMA9Bxc Items in the box:  Card listing items  Spellbook notebook  Life Essence Soap  Sanderson Sisters Shirt  Ride or die Shirt  Film Poster  Sticker  Mug  Thoughts: Most of these items were interesting and unique. I was very surprised I got to shirts! Items I will use:  The soap. I love that it is shaped like a caldron.  The shirts  I will keep the film poster and hang it up  Final thoughts:  Not sure what I will do with the other items I did not list above but I will figure out something (and I did since it took me so long to get the post up, sorry about that). This box does not offer subscriptions anymore and I bought this box as a one time box. If you like the items I would check out Creeper Crate to see if they still have the items. This is my second CreeperCrate so I would recommend them in gener

Knitcrate October 2019

Image
Today I am posting my review of KnitCrate from October You can view my unboxing here: https://youtu.be/R1dosw9azOk Here is a referral code: https://www.knitcrate.com/pages/refer?_ke=eyJrbF9lbWFpbCI6ICJhLnNodXR5QGdtYWlsLmNvbSIsICJrbF9jb21wYW55X2lkIjogIktCZnZUYiJ9 What was in my box:  Custom Stich Marker Knitcrate Inspirations (Booklet with 5 patterns) 2 Hanks of Yarn in Vidalana (100 % wool) Thoughts on my box:  This box was nice to try but for the price I was not impressed with what came in my box. I was surprised that there were so many patterns in the book but I do not see myself making any of this. The yarn was ok. The colors were ok for me but I do not make with wool yarn so that was disappointing. Final thoughts:  I you think you would like the box go for it but I do not see myself purchasing a subscription. I purchased this box because it was on sale.
