Sewers Club Feb. 2019

My very quick unboxing of this box can be found here: https://youtu.be/y4xtt_pPJlA This is one craft box I enjoy very much. Each month they send you a different and useful product to make. This months box was An Amanda Jane Seven pocket work Apron. This month the card and the fabric were all tied up in a bow. That was nice but packaging and stuff like that for the most part doesn't really affect my views. I know some though who that kind of aspect maters a lot. Still it was nice receiving my package like that. Picture from sewers club site. It contained: A card telling you what was in the box 27 inches of Northcott Fabric in Red 32 Inches of Lets Go Glamping Fabric by Anne Rowan Thoughts on items: I liked the red fabric it was very nice. The glamping fabric is not my favorite print. I can use both fabric though and make the apron. I can consider this make practice apron. It would make a great gift. This looks like a very fun and easy product to make. If you wou

PreCuts Quilt Box Feb. 2019 Classic Box

New Box alert!!! Last month I saw a couple videos of this box being unboxed. It looked like maybe a nice box but it was the modern box and I wasn't digging the pattern etc. I thought looking at the website wouldn't hurt and it didn't because I discovered they had more than just that subscription. They have the classic box, the modern box, and the table runner club to subscribe to. I could not find a video for the classic box anywhere last month. So I thought I would try it this month.  Im glad I did. (Picture is from Precuts Quilt Shop site) Jan. 2019 was their 1st released box and all they put out was a modern stash builder box. I must say all in all this is my favorite crafting/quilting box that I am reviewing so far! Here is a link to my unboxing: https://youtu.be/2fdnFT9D4wU Quick musings/thought on items in the box: A very nice professionally made brochure: This tells you everything in the box. Aurifill 50W thread : value $3.15

Sew Sampler Feb. 2019

Here is a link to my unboxing: https://youtu.be/c1DnSTbOZs4 This is my second and most likely my last Sew Sampler Box. Its a nice box but I only see one thing I would really keep/ actually use here. The item (I will discuss them all below) is less than the value of the box so it doesn't really pay. This months theme was topical oasis. Quick thoughts on the items: Sun Print Charm Packs by Allison Glass   $19.96 Value  You got two of these packs in the box they are for making the pattern but I don't see myself making the pattern they sent.   Mai-tai quilt Pattern $ 9.98 value  Pattern is very colorful and different as you can see from my unboxing. Its just not my style.   Pineapple Quilt Block Foundation Paper $7.98  I don't paper piece so again I don't see me using this item. Add A Quarter 6" Plus Pink Ruler $8.98  Its nice but again I don't see me using the item. Alex Anderson 4-In-1 Essential Sewing Tool

Creative notions box Feature and thoughts

So I discovered this box several months ago. I got the boxes for September, October, November, and December. Again these boxes I bought for a gift. This time my gift receiver keep some items but then gifted other items. This is a picture of what the cute box looked like. Subscription cost is $35 a month. In each box you received several fat quarters, thread, snips, a yummy treat, and/or other items. You also got a charm which after 6 months you got a bracelet, pin or something to put your charms on. Of course I didn't keep up with the subscription for that long so I never got a charm holder. The box seemed nice and you got a lot of nice things but my friend and I were like what to do with these items. It would have been nice if in each box they had a kit to make something and not just quilting items. In one of the box there was a pattern but the fabric did not seem to work with the pattern. Personally, I don't think the box was worth it. I have seen unboxings o

Please view this video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6it_JfM6nRU This month theme was all black and white I wasn't really thrilled about any of the items. Favorite item from this month's box: The chocolate. Items in the box: Quilt Pendant Necklace  Thoughts:  It was cute but just not my style.  Quilt Block Socks by moda  Thoughts: Unique item  I don't think  you would find these in stores that I know of   I do not see me wearing these.  Two Urban Cottage Charm Packs by the Urban chicks Thoughts: Print is ok  Im not exactly sure what I will do with these or how I would use them  Magnolia Quilt Pattern Looks easy enough to make  Not the kind of pattern I see myself making Milk Chocolate Caramels 3 of them in their package  My favorite item from this months box  They w
