Darn good yarn of the month box


What was in my box?:
  1. a set of knitting needles and a crochet hook (value on box 19.99). It says these are handmade from India. They are dyed purple so they have that Ombre effect!
  2. a booklet has a pattern for crochet and knitting.
  3. A skein of yarn

Thoughts on box:
  • Again I tried this box because I had a coupon. Im glad I tried it, that's how I learn what kind of items I like and what I don't.
  • My favorite item in the box was the hook and needles You do get a gift in the box each month and these were worth well over the cost of the box.
  • The patterns I don't see me making.
  • The yarn I don't see me using. The yarn is silk and anything made with it you have to handwash. I prefer washable yarn.

Would I recommend this box?

No I would not. Its one of these you get what you pay for. The box only cost $10 dollars. That price is rarely seen for a subscription box but if the yarn is not washable yarn/yarn I wont use its not really worth paying $10 every month. I have canceled my subscription.

 Items I received:   Just keep F*cking going mug  Fineapple Body Butter  Carpe F*cking Diem Collectable Sticker  Overthinking is my Jam Sharpie  Inhale the good shit Exhale the Bullsh*t tote Really Pretty Hair Ties Active Bitch Face Pouch  Dont Half Ass use your full ass post it notes  While this box was fun most of the items in it I cant use.  Items I liked. 2, 3, 4, and 6.  2. Body butter is something you can always use.  3. I can craft with the sticker  4. I can always use a blue sharpie  6. Hair ties always come in handy  I will have to figure out what I do with the rest of the items.  I will be putting up a few more reviews for this box I am really really behind on posts guys.  This review/feature is long overdue.
